Back to the Future !

(language: Odiya) Khanda pralaya ru khanda pralaya parjyanta : (language : Hindi)Quayamat se Quayamat tak….

Long long ago, there were 5 lions staying in a jungle with their families. A 5000 strong grazing animal population was part of the food chain and there was no problem for sustainability. Lions were on hunting spree when they were hungry; else they were uncles to everybody. Climate was good, no dearth of grass, enough water in the river, many fruits in the trees with lot of monkeys of course!! One day a little bird said to one uncle Lion that two strange animals are coming towards their jungle. They walk on their rear limbs, have no tails, eat anything eatable, stay inside a self-made nest, and use tools to do simple things to very complicated things. They have killed many animals on their way including an elephant by using their strange tools. They use some vocals to communicate. They preserve food for bad weather and use a rolling cart for transportations. I think they are dangerous. They are coming to stay here….for ever. The lion said, “I am the king of this jungle. Don’t you know which protein I eat? Elephant is a weak grass eating animal. Let them come I`ll pounce those walky talkies. I am very cruel when I am hungry. Everybody knows. They are not coming to my jungle but to my empty stomach”.

The lion waited and waited, they didn`t turn up. After few days he became very hungry. He thought those guys ran away to some other place. He saw a big fat immobilized spotted deer and thought for a great dinner instead. It was a trap. The two walky talkies killed him. Similarly they killed all the lions and started living there. With time their population grew. There were no lions, so they were on the top of the food chain. They developed medicines from herbs, used fire for cooking and many new things which surprized other animals. They overwhelmingly killed the grazing animals, even if they were not hungry! After few hundred years, grazing animals reduced to double digits. So they cleaned up jungle for agriculture, domesticated the leftover animals. After few hundred years they required more land for agriculture. A fraction of them migrated to the other side of the river and applied all the techniques they knew from this side of the river. After few hundred years, they started looking differently across the river. After few hundred years they had their own vocal communications, customs and Gods somewhat similar and somewhat different. Each side of the river started treating them as a better species. After few hundred years their number became huge. No more jungle no more grass land remained except the desert. At that point of time, they had two options either to reduce their consumption or to produce more. But they could do neither because they were habituated to live in an expensive way and their resources were limited. So they started begging, then stealing, then robbing each other. But none of them worked. So each side across the river secretly decided to attack the other side. They secretly build up unique war-fares and thought that they had an edge. One stormy night, the war started. All the weapons used. Rest is history.

Somebody said, “We all are born to consume resources”. Consume responsibly to live bit longer.

It was an exciting travelling time.

After a small travel around the country, meeting old friends, making new friends, visiting old places, going to new places and what not, finally I am back home. So the delay and posting here. Though travelling could not hold me back from posting, but then I took some time off to be back again and posting here.
By the way, thank you all who are visiting it, I must say the amount of crowd I am getting here is really motivating. Please do leave a comment, they are equally valuable to me too :)

My on the move partners, thanks.

Well, lately I am travelling a lot arround India. Most of the time I want to be online and do my job as well of continuous blogging and studying stuffs I like.
I must thank my HTC wildfire phone which runs Android OS, Airtel prepaid with 2g and rooming, my MacBook Pro, and my phone hotspot. These things made me a complete mobile office, productive and fun. Though slow connection but I did almost all of my travel tickets, voice chat over Skype, through these only things.
Love you guys and thank you for supporting me at my need.

Steve Jobs (1955-2011)

Woke up to a day where the world as a whole lost a visionary, motivator, leader and a true free human being, Steve Jobs.
Could not believe that we friends from all around, were calling each other to convey and grief for the great soul. He made us a family, never with us physically but connected the whole world with his ground breaking products, which definitely has a magical value which each human being has. Thats why probably all of us around the world are somehow related and felt the loss.
I, myself is fortunate enough to live in an age, where I can say proudly, Mr Steve Jobs lived.
Thank you for being with us, thank you for motivating me, thank you for showing how to live till your last breath, thank you for a human being, thank you for believing in magic rather than logic, which is truly human in all the senses. Will miss you for ever.

StartUp : Geek Mentors

It’s very exciting to see these people at geek mentors doing a nice job porting angrybirds to a local version.
Flash is not always about flashplayer, its much more than that if we really follow the philosophy of Flash community. These guys at this startup began their career in Flash, but as of any cool dude in Flash, they always tried to push the technology and dove into new platforms for the learning and broadening the horizon. They are hungry for technology and fun, both at once.
The momentum is always there for fun and learn new things all the time. The work never seem to be complete but then they never seem to rest ;) that does not mean they are working under pressure, that means simply they keep on working for what they love. Apart from developing games for Apple appstore, there is a quality mentoring option for people who want to learn things the fun way by doing it. The best part is there is no project manager to manage you, come to work and do it by how you want to do.
There is a heavy investment on new technology learnings. When the world was fighting for whether to Html5 or Flash, this new startup solely concentrate on GameSalad. A solid platform for publishing your games to IPhone, iPad and even HTML5. The point is if there is a tool which can produce quality applications, why fight over how many lines of code one need to write in a particular platform!

Water rafting for the first time

tree house!
Last weekend I am fortunate to visit Coorg, a hill station near Bangalore. I must say, it was a beautiful experience. A must visit for anyone who loves nature. There is a beautiful waterfall, a place you should not miss. Just sheer nature and its love, one can only feel.
waterfall

There are natural cottages made for staying back. And the good thing is electric power is only available for 2 hours in night. Thats pretty awesome. As it was cold outside and almost all the time raining, one does not need electricity at all. There are these little candle lights and the night just seemed more enjoyable.

Well, this place seemed part of a wildlife sanctuary, so on our way we happened to see some wild animals as bear and deer.
We did a small trekking around the hill and must say it was an exciting experience as there were leeches on the path, the whole path was filled with leeches. And one is bound to get the leeches, so the best part is how to deal with problem when we have to go with it. That was the learning of the life time. And you know what? Leeches are not dangerous at all, people in that area are habituated with it. So the advice we got is, take a lemon with you all the time. Once you get a leech on your body, put the lemon juice into it. Do not panic and scratch the leech, as one can not get that thing out with hand. Well the most interesting part is when leeches suck your blood, you do not feel any pain!! They will come to your body, suck your blood up and go away as soon as they are full, and sometimes they burst also after drinking too much of blood, LOL :) .
trekking with Leeches
The most important part is, one is bound to get the leeches on one’s body, so the choice is whether to go on the trek or not? That is the lesson to learn. Fun and excitement comes and brings some sort of frightening moment but if you do not panic, just enjoy the moment and go with the flow without trying to control it, you will feel the full potential of nature and as such life also :) All of us got some leeches on our body too :) I got frightened once I saw one leech was just getting into my shoes!! It felt very frightening to me for once, tried removing it from outside, but as I said you can not remove it with your hand. Do not panic, remove your shoes, put some lemon juice and there you go. And one more thing, if at all you find one leech on your body, the damage is already done to you, the amount of blood it needs is already sucked!! So no point panic. I was carrying 3 more leeches with me, until I reach the base camp, where I found they are still with me travelled all the distance from the mountain.
water rafting
Then came the first time in my life, water rafting. It was just as awesome as the wind, rain and wild water in this high force mountain river.
water rafting
Must say, I got a fantastic team with with. All of us were almost for the first time but almost all of us were ready to make it. The most interesting part is all most all of us are either do not know swimming or just do swimming pool swim. Looking at the river, the flowing water and its speed make us all nervous but then we had already decided to make it. Thanks to the wonderful guide in our boat, he was encouraging us all the time. Once we got stuck in the bushes somehow, it seemed a tough job to get back to the flowing water. For it was very tough to push the boat inside water, against water. We kept our cool and enjoyed the beauty of nature. That experience was just mind blowing. Two other guides came to rescue and we were back on the flowing water. Rest was just enjoying the flow and speed of water, the turbulence and water hitting all our faces, water coming inside boat and we kept moving with the constant instructions of the guide. Finally all of us reached safe and made an amazing experience.
its me
I would say, must try, yaaaaaaaahhoooo.

Let go. It always works.

I generally tend to hold it for a long long time. And finally when I let it go, the solution is right in front. Yes, I always got to the solution but not with holding things, but with let go!
It is generally said that, do not get too serious with life else you will not get out of it. It took a long time for me to realise that. First of all its people arround. Those who themselves are not happy, want you to stay worried and they will do all possible logic calculating how to make you that. So be aware not to fall in trap. It will not help. Believe in your own self and make a choice to be happy. Leave everything behind and just be happy now. Once you do that, things will unfold.
Once you let go, the situaion itself knows that you are not trying to fight it with logic but intuition and that’s powerful. Once you do that you will find solution in front , will come from somewhere you have never ever imagined. That works for me and may be you try that.
Belive in self and let go things will do wonders, while logic can solve mechanic problems, life is not mechanical at all. Happy living.
